APD will customise the grind size upon order. We will grind it very fine to be used for moka pot or expresso. We will grind it fine for filter coffee. We will grind it moderately coarse for French Press or the Channi method. Additionally the medium coarse grind will work for the Pour Over and Chemex method.

APD Cascara can be brewed just like loose-leaf tea over a stove top for around 8 minutes. Alternatively, the results are also excellent when brewed using a french press, keeping in mind the steep time ideally at 8 minutes.

The best way to keep ground coffee or whole beans fresh is to keep it away from light, heat, moisture and air. The APD packaging comes with a well-thought through contraption of a de-gassing valve. The degassing valve is a one-way vent that allows coffee beans and ground coffee to slowly release carbon di-oxide and other volatile gases from the bag without coming into contact with the air outside. Upon opening the bag, you will only need to tightly clip the bag after each use.

No, not at all. There is absolutely no taste nor aftertaste of any mushrooms in the mushroom extract added coffee ! You will only get the tasting notes of the coffee.

Since we roast the coffee in small batches every week, you will receive a fresh order within a week of its placement.

The grind size can be customised upon order. If you are used to a moka pot for brewing, we will have it ground to a very fine size. We will grind it moderately coarse if you prefer to use French press.
